Pot tea

Pot tea is an infusion of cannabis, usually the leaves of the plant, in hot water. The cricketer Viv Richards, one of Wisden's five Cricketers of the Century, describes the use of this to control his eye problems. This method of ingesting cannabis yields low psychoactive effects, as tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive agent in cannabis, is not a water-soluble compound. Dissolving THC in lipids (fat - for example, butter) or alcohol (as in Green Dragon) is more effective for drug use.
Marijuana Tea Recipe Since THC is fat-solluble, the green leaf water infusion will not make you high in any way. There may be water solluble compounds that are good for eyesight. If you want to experience the mild to potent euphoric, or potentially dysphoric experience from consuming marijuana tea, it is suggested you take a few grams of the flowers 'heads,' and boil them in a little bit of milk; low fat milk contains enough fat lipids to dissolve the THC molecule to make it accesible to the human body; using about 50 ml of low fat milk and 100-150 ml of water usually suffices, added to this is about the quantity for a joint, or more, however be warned that you may experience uncontrollable fits of laughter if you through in more than I'd say a very small handful, about enough to fill a cigarette. Otherwise, you might go to the movies and start laughing uncontrollably... it should be boiled for about 10 - 15 minutes, until the milk becomes an off tint brown khaki colour. It is quite a sharp abbrasive taste and sometimes the flavinoid will almost burn the throat. This recipe after boiling reduces the tea to about I'd say one shot, and you can gulp it down in a swig or two.
