'Australia or more formerly The Commonwealth of Australia is a country in the Southern Hemisphere which includes many island groups in both the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Australia became in independant nation in 1901 but remains part of the British Commonwealth.

In the same manner as Great Britain, Australia has a Prime Minister as the head of the political system with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as sovereign.
History
Until it was claimed by the British in 1770 Australia had been populated by Native Australian Aborigines for some 40,000 years. The British began settling the Western areas of this massive country and established it as a penal colony.

Australian marijuana consumption differs from that of the U.S. Australian's usually buy a high potency blend in small amounts and then grate or "chop" the herb adding tobacco to make it go further and this also allows for much better combustion of the marijuana, when using a bong the cone or "bowl" is packed, a full cone is known as a "romper" or "pedro from the ghetto cone" and a smaller cone is known as a "chippy" or bitch cone. the entire contents of the cone is smoke in one inhalation, re-lighting the cone is taboo and should be avoided at all costs. Australian's are very particular about their smoking habits and have developed a large vocabulary for the process Eg. obtaining marijuana is known as "getting on" the realization of something that you couldn't understand when sober is called "the green realization" and when somebody pulls a cone that was of generous proportions that saying "thats a fat cone man" is usually said.
The act of going to highly social places whilst under the influence of marijuana (being ripped) is very common to, as is the use of clear eyes.
